Verbena & The Butterfly!

Verbena (Verbena bonariensis), is seen in the background of this photo.  It is a neat compact perennial plant bearing heads of pale violet flowers from mid summer onwards.  The Verbena plant has rough mid green leaves which prefers sun and enjoys free draining soil.  This plant is attractive to most insects but particularly butterflies.  Propagate (reproduction) by seed.
