African Daisy!

The funky colours of this Purple African Daisy will definitely put a bright spot in your garden.  The center disk of this bloom looks as if it was painted with metallic paint!  With smooth & flat petals this flower closely resembles Shasta and Zinnia daisies.  Also available in pink, yellow, white & bi-colour, which makes them easy to mix and match with any other flower in your garden.

Giant Dutch Crocus

Larger than any other crocus, the Dutch Crocus is king of this species!  This bloom opens in sunny weather, or when there is  a lot of light and closes when it rains, and at night.  This bulb plant is most commonly found in gardens and parks alongside hyacinths, tulips & narcissi.  While they only bloom for about 3 weeks every Spring, they are a joy to behold.

Got it?...flaunt it with Narcissus Daffodil!

The show offs of the daffodil world?...none other than the Narcissus Double Daffodil!  A single row of petals will not do, they have multiple rings of petals, forming a tufted cup, frilly bloom. With such a heady bloom, you may need to stake these flowers.  In fact, they are so packet with petals, they almost look like a mini peony. Whatever name given the Hosta aka Funkia and Plantain Lily, this perennial has it made it the shade! Got a shady spot to fill, or an under a tree space to fill?...this plant is ideal as a filler and makes a perfect ground cover plant. Amongst the large, textured leaves, are white or lavender delicate flowers, some with a sweet scent too.  A very useful and hardy plant to have around your garden!

Drumstick Primula!

Literally Spring forward with this lush perennial.  The ball shaped bloom of flowers grows well in a wide range of climates.  This primrose species is available in many colours in shades of purple, violet, blue, and white through to pink too.   Growing up to a height of 12" at maturity, this plant is great for general planting, border edging & even rock gardens.  With their mild fragrance, they are wonderful as cut stems to place in a vase, for enjoyment too!

Although not a common sight, when you do spot one, it is breathtaking!  In some cultures it is perceived to bring luck, or grant a wish, always a good thing!
