Pasque Flower & Seedhead

The seedhead of the Pasque Flower is made up of  unique long, pink silky hairs. In fact, the bloom of the plant is a purple flower with 5-8 petals.  The colour range of the petals can be dark lavender to white, with yellow stamens at the center.  This pretty little plant is popular in many home gardens, but blooms only on warm & sunny days during the Spring.  Surely to be enjoyed, while they last!
