The Wild Sunflower!

Wild Sunflowers have several flower heads on their stalks, rather than a long single stalk with a single large flower head on the top. The stems & leaves of the Wild Sunflowers are hairy. Like all Sunflowers, the flower head will track the sun and grow in that direction, through the day.  The flowers are small, growing only 2-3" wide, with small seeds as well.  But just like any other Sunflower, their colour is still a sunny, bold colour!
