'Astra Blue' Balloon Flower

The Balloon flower gets it's name from the flower bud shaped like a balloon, just before it blooms. This star shaped petal flower will bloom continually from mid to late summer, while many other perennials are starting to fade. The flowers face upward and bloom in shades of pink, blue & white, while growing in mounds. Excellent in the garden, as they don't spread, and they are even a good choice for cutting. A wonderful perennial to grow, producing flowers season after season, a sure way to a delightful garden!
