The Power of Colour, with Golden Yellow Echinacea!

Ever wonder about the power of colour? Well, yellow in particular, is one of the strongest colours to behold. It grabs your attention, while uplifting it with intensity & cheerfulness! Bees are very attracted to yellow in Nature, as they cannot see the colour red. The sole purpose of these bright blooms is to attract bees, which ultimately produces more seeds in the flower, after pollination. Yellow is a reminder of all those Spring flowers yet to bloom. Daffodils, daisies, tulips & more in the garden, a happy thought indeed!

In anticipation of Spring & the Daffodil!

In anticipation of those warm, breezy days, our thoughts turn to those flowers of Spring! Daffodils are thoroughly cheerful and a welcome sight to behold. While their meaning symbolizes friendship, their popularity is due to their beauty. Bold colours of yellow & orange, while their inner trumpet shape is often a contrasting shade from their background ring of petals. Did you know that Daffodils were once considered a weed? Thanks to an Englishman, who back in 1629, took them from weed status, back to the garden, and I'm gad he did!
