In anticipation of Spring & the Daffodil!

In anticipation of those warm, breezy days, our thoughts turn to those flowers of Spring! Daffodils are thoroughly cheerful and a welcome sight to behold. While their meaning symbolizes friendship, their popularity is due to their beauty. Bold colours of yellow & orange, while their inner trumpet shape is often a contrasting shade from their background ring of petals. Did you know that Daffodils were once considered a weed? Thanks to an Englishman, who back in 1629, took them from weed status, back to the garden, and I'm gad he did!

  1. NIce way to praise in the favour of daffodils, as these poor fellows can't even express themselves. the way this blog explains is quite impressive, good work!
